We believe in being part of the community. This means getting involved and using our skills to advance the greater good. Our lawyers’ pro bono work and other civic contributions have included the representation of parents in international Hague Convention child abduction cases, women who have suffered abuse, families who have been taken advantage of in consumer or housing transactions, children’s organizations in need of legal advice, individuals in death row habeas corpus proceedings, individuals in immigration proceedings, and low-income individuals in proceedings before the Internal Revenue Service. We support our local communities by, among other activities, serving on boards of non-profit organizations, and volunteering our time and expertise for educational institutions.
We are committed to creating an environment in which our team members are hired, measured, valued and promoted on the basis of ability, work ethic and character. We strive to promote a culture that is inclusive of all, without regard for race, religion, gender, marital status, or sexual orientation. We believe that diversity brings a broader range of experiences, fresh perspectives, greater understanding and collaboration, and produces better solutions.
We are proud of our nation’s military and we believe in the training and experience it provides. Five of our attorneys, including four partners, are military veterans who served in leadership roles in the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps. We believe it is a duty, honor and privilege to support our nation’s veterans.
